Update: due to the COVID-19 pandemic and associated trail closures, park closures, and stay-at-home orders, I have returned home from the trail to wait this out. I plan to return to the trail once things open back up.

Right now I'm attempting a northbound (NOBO) 2,190-mile thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail from Springer Mountain, GA, to Katahdin, ME. I have dreamed of thru-hiking the AT since I was a teenager when I would spend a week on the trail every summer. With the Army behind me and law school in front of me, I only have about 120 days to make it happen - the average thru-hike takes six months. This will also be a photography project, and when I'm done I will publish an album with my photos. Here's how you can join in on the adventure:

1. Follow my daily Instagram posts

2. Check out my gear list

3. Join my mailing list so you'll know when the photo album is available (the box that pops up when you open my home page.
